... their shop for a bit, then went down to the glass museum to look around for a while. About half an hour before we were supposed to meet, Katy and I strolled through the town to look for shops, but they were all closed, then our bus arrived and took us to a nearby town.
Once we got to the town, we had about an hour and a half to eat, so we strolled down to a “glass pyramid” then found a little place to grab a bite to eat. Katy and I decided to split a dish, then we ...

We’re now traveling on the Main River. We’ve seen many swans and ducks on the river and the hills have many vineyards. After lunch we docked at Wurzburg , another picturesque town with many church spires and a fortress on the hill. The river is crossed by another old stone bridge with large statues of Bishop Princes and saints lining the sides of the bridge.
Today, right after breakfast, we crossed the European Continental Divide. We went into a lock that dropped us down 81 ft. At the bottom it was, as our tour guide said, like being a spider in a bathtub with concrete walls rising up just inches from the sides of the ship.
We docked at ...

The local fans are intense. Coming in full fan gear of scarves, jerseys, flags and some even brought tamtams that were miked up to increase the energy of the crowd! Me and Chris got scarves and a pretzel and beer and sat to ...
... of Nuremburg on day 2! Nuremberg is famous for being the city where Hitler condemned the Jews and lots of other ****** stuff so obviously it was bombed to hell in World War 2. Very little of the original buildings remain. The walls to the center of the city are still there in most places and the churches are still being rebuilt in certain places but they restored the city very nicely and it still has ...

I miss my friends, family, and Bruce a lot. I'm Skyping with him right now, and it is so good to see his little dimpled face. Miss that smile a lot.

We may consider it a great encouragement that once again Germans with Jewish belief call themselves citizens of our country. We take the fact that you have come here to speak to us as a sign that a lot has changed during those past decades. The younger generation does not bear responsibility for the past. However, we all ...
Bad Windsheim, Germany kitchenshrink... as they left two by two I said good bye to people I hope I will have the pleasure of meeting again at some time in the future. So today as I headed back to work, I passed the lovely pale green multi-windowed home that I have been passing every day since my arrival. I noticed that the window boxes which had held beautiful red flowers were gone. They had been removed by the owner over the weekend in preparation for winter. Every morning I had been thinking about ...

Each night I return to Bad Windsheim weaving my way through the narrow streets and following the one way passage that winds through the village leading me back to my German home. Parking is worse than New York City and I have to remember daily which small alley or side street I have managed to find a legal place to squeeze my black 007 ...
Bad Windsheim, Germany kitchenshrink... I guess i should have made this trip earlier in the day. No matter, I picked the perfect street... Pastorius Strasse. It's history time again boys and girls! This particular street was named after Franz Daniel Pastorius, and that is all the history I have for you about that because the only website I could find about him is in German. Pastorius Strasse seems to me to be a pretty popular street. There were many people of all ...
