Had breakfast at Hotel then went up to see Linda and say goodbye to Wolfgang. Jan then drove us into Saarbrucken for the day as he had to spend time with Linda making arrangements for the funeral. Walked around the lovely St Johann Market Place with pretty shops and restaurants and down along the river bank. Jan picked us up and back to our hotel. Later we went out to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner. Had an early night to bed as we were still ...

... evening most of the wife’s had game night. It was a really good time. We played Cards Against Humanity and hung out. We stayed till around 1:30 or so. It was a fun night. We are planning to go into a bigger city to watch the final Sunday. After the game we headed back and just watched ...

Started our trek back to where we started late morning, the Don pinched a bike from the hire place before they opened to go up to the store for some breakfast supplies. A pleasant day spent on board cruising but it was a long one being eight hours on the water. We all assumed a role as the 17 locks become same same, this is not to say that we were uninterested but a hard boat to paddle with ...

      Germany - week 1

Classes are boring. Our second day we had class literally all day, 10-9. We were exhausted. Teachers are pretty nice but all they do is read power points. I literally have been nodding off after being in class for 30 mins. Basically going to be the easiest 8 credits of my life though. There will be no exams or tests. So far, just one 5 min presentation. I'll take it! This is looking like ...
