... from the boat and snorkelled right there. Quite a few colourful and stripy fish, and it was quite deep here, and these waters were filled with rocks and sand at the bottom. This reminded me of swimming in Madeira when I was a kid. You would also jump directly on to the water and stand a few meters above the rocks. Woke up and had breakfast at Nera's bakery. Had a croissant, banana shake and rye bread. We then walked back to the hotel to hire a jeep. ... after Sandy be has put on 3.4kg and looks much healthier; you can no longer see his ribs and he feels nice and solid.

We spoke with the sterilisation team about getting Sandy done and they suggested we bring him to them so they can check him out. We did this and they thought he would be OK as he'd been taking his medication for 2 weeks.

... though the party is in Koh Phangan we had to stay in Koh Samui as everywhere was fully booked up and that was back in September but from Koh Samui they do regular speedboats across to Koh Phangan so it wasn't bad at all. When getting to the pier, just in time as our taxi didn't turn up (shock!), it was manic as about 250 people were waiting to get onto the few speedboats, after people pushing and shoving their way onto the boat with people nearly falling into the ...

... there was a thai man laying flat out on some rubble. as we past We all thought he was dead then as we filled up the scooters at the bottom, an ambulance went by :(
