Erik's blog post We woke up this morning with the task of packing all of our stuff up and getting it to fit into 5 backpacks and 5 carry ons for the move to Khon Kaen. Before we could get started on this though we had the pleasure of getting a FaceTime call from Colette's sister Nicole and her husband Sean. They were surprised to find out we were just getting moving at 10am...Island lifestyle...that's our story and we're stickin' to it! We ...

After ...

I proudly announce that the proper thing to do is to give him a name now that he is part of our family and call him STICKY. After all, he is ...

We all had a much needed lie in after a busy week of early mornings. It was lush ad we didn't wake up until 10...well except for N.W who got up for 6am and went for a run along the beach to the sun rise!! We had porridge in Eiry's cafe at our room whilst Cerys and Nathan went and got breakfast next door. They waited down on the beach for us until we joined them on the sun beds. It was quite cloudy but the boys still went in the sea whilst Cerys and Eiry watched. Then it started to rain ...

... much to the kids, and Stephanie's, delight. The Big Buddha sits in the Mara posture, with the left hand palm facing up. resting on the lap and the right hand facing down, the fingers hanging over the knee and grazing the ground. It depicts a time during Buddha’s journey to enlightenment where he successfully subdued the temptations and dangers thrust at him by the devil-figure Mara by meditating and remaining calm. The pose is a symbol of steadfastness, purity ...
