Erik's blog post We woke up this morning with the task of packing all of our stuff up and getting it to fit into 5 backpacks and 5 carry ons for the move to Khon Kaen. Before we could get started on this though we had the pleasure of getting a FaceTime call from Colette's sister Nicole and her husband Sean. They were surprised to find out we were just getting moving at 10am...Island lifestyle...that's our story and we're stickin' to it! We ...

A lizard in our bathroom. Colette gets a little high strung again and tells me, "DO SOMETHING WITH THAT LIZARD!"

So...I did what any caring husband (who I might add NEVER liked to pick up frogs, snakes, or any other yikee things when he was a little boy) would do. ... one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. It's a tiny stretch of sand surrounded by fields of palm trees and big rocks. The waters where a mix of turquoise and dark blue... Again absolutely beautiful place! I actually wish I could have seen more of Koh Tao, what we saw from the boat looked great. In the meanwhile Wecould see that the weather conditions where getting worse and the sea was getting a little bit choppy, but still ok to go in. We ...

... comfortable before we headed off like Damon Hill through the Thailand Countryside. We stopped off after 2 hours so we fueled up on some lovely noodle soup before heading out again until after 4 hours of driving, we arrived at Surithani, where the minivan dropped us off at a "stop" and we joined about 30 other people in waiting for the next bus. We had to wait over an hour before a large bus collected up everyone (in teh meantime we had been issued with coloured stickers (a usual ...
