    ... in the Beast for the last stop, L'Estartit, another town they haled as delightful. We booked into the most expensive campground yet but didn't care as we were hot and just needed to stop.     ... in we had two guys hope on and serenade us half the way - for euros of course. They sung and played the guitar really well so I had to give them some money. Barcelona is a thriving pulsing vibrant city and bloody hot!!! We booked the hop on hop off tourist bus which was great. There was 19 stops on the orange route and 16 stops on the green route.     A M ventured to Cadaques to tour Dali's house . After seeing museum and house I am now an official Dali fan ( wasn't before) Picnic on the way to Girona by way of lovely town of Besalu, and a swim at Banyoles. Stayed 2 nights at Pension Bellmirall .Tapas & Rosata for dinner. Breakfast on patio.

    To the old phrase " only mad dogs and Englishman go out in the midday sun", you may add KNBC cyclists. We headed off from Argele sur mer about 8 and headed down the coast. Spectacular scenery, but the idea that we were finished climbing quickly turned out to be a myth. Each village along the coast involves a descent with a subsequent climb on the other side.
