... that. Like many cities, even close to home there are industrial cities that are struggling. We couldn't get a hostel, so it was a HOTEL for us! We can not get use to that! But a HOT shower.. A shower in our own bathroom! That exists here?? The beds so comfy, ...

Liverpool was a balance between York and Manchester. The city life definitely accessible but it was still cosy and romantic. We enjoyed walking along the docks and looking at the ships moored along the shore of the river whilst devouring some epically delicious homemade fudge!

Highlights definitely include the evening spent at the Cavern Club singing and dancing to Beatles tribute songs and the Tuk Tuk drive through the city.

The magician, Steve Price, was truly excellent. His tricks and illusions were very well done, and were all new to us. He also performed a non-stop funny patter and got people out of the audience to help him. We enjoyed his show very much and are looking forward to seeing him again later in the cruise.

We finished the evening off by going along to the Lido Lounge and doing the quiz. We were joined by another couple, Malcolm and ...
