    ... relatively expensive.

Larnaca, and for that matter Cyprus, seems to be just a holiday place for couples from England wanting to get a bit of the sun. They get that, and very red bodies. It seems most just go from their hotel and lie on the beach each day and bake their fair skin. Also a fair smattering of Russians but no Asians (yet).

Quite a few historical sites in Larnaca, for that matter Cyprus, as it seems everyone has ...

SIDE NOTE: I shared a coffee with my good friends at Imatech Larnaca and they filled me in on life in Cyprus which I really appreciate. Demitrios also pointed us to Zepyrios fish tavern which was the perfect seafood meze to complete our tour of Cyprus on our last day.

The trip home incudes a stop off in Dubai for a few days and we’ll be back on Wednesday sun kissed and reflecting on our eastern Mediterranean adventure. Look forward to catching up with you ...

Its Monday so with a steely eye Sarah was up and putting the kettle on just before 6am. Into our jogging gear and after a cup of tea off we set along our normal route.....40mins later we were back and enjoying another cup of tea. Surprised to find our holiday guests were also up and at them and were at the finish point as we sprinted home...NOT! Quick water of the plants and then take turns to shower before breakfast. Then we set off ...

... but there are many more. Seeing as I have visited in July/August, the weather is very hot (averaging at 38c), but my hotel is by the sea, so the breeze makes the heat more bearable. So far, some attractions that have made Cyprus so special are: • Salamis Beach: My hotel is on this beach. I'm staying at the 'Sky Venus Beach Hotel', and the Salamis beach was the first place in Cyprus I experienced- and it's lovely. I highly ...
