    Sat 1st Aug - Up, cup of tea and garden sorted then showered and back to the book for both of us. Sarah busy with the crochet work and also made some coffee biscuits for our neighbours...........time flew by and it was lunchtime. Some nice bread, hard boiled eggs, cheese and tomatoes accompanied by fresh orange juice. No sooner had we finished lunch and there was our turkish neighbour bringing round some freshly made dolma....stuffed courgette and cabbage leaves.....lovely rice inside ...

    ... in the UK but still very good. Decided on chicken fried rice for supper so did a bit of preparation so just need to thro the ingredients together into the wok later. Mrs Fox will have a few bones later if she pops round. Late afternoon and a stroll to the pool, again I was the only one there so no interrupting the 20 lengths in what was a very warm bath. Goats and shepherd have not been around for a few days now so maybe the weather is just to hot even for them, ...

    ... Grouper. All rounded off by a turkish coffee. It was 11:30pm and time to go home, where Mrs Fox was waiting for supper. Now that we had all been fed it was time to retire, attempt to watch iplayer and then nod off.

    ... relatively expensive.

    Larnaca, and for that matter Cyprus, seems to be just a holiday place for couples from England wanting to get a bit of the sun. They get that, and very red bodies. It seems most just go from their hotel and lie on the beach each day and bake their fair skin. Also a fair smattering of Russians but no Asians (yet).
