    Dear Kerem and Emre,

It was five minutes before 5pm when I got to the Salamis Ruins and it was getting dark quickly. I stepped in to see the guard and he was dozing off and I didn't want to bother him, so, I invited myself in.

The ruins are spectacular. First the history of the history:

... Mehmet, the guards, was very knowledgeable and gave a small tour and we chatted a bit. Very nice gentleman. The road up and down is very treacherous and a moment of distraction could easily mean trouble from steep mountain sides. Okay, so be careful!!

Oh, one more thing: I saw an almond tree fresh with flowers fully bloomed. The island is in the midst of flowers blooming. Exquisite site.

    Cheers!

... I feel like a critic and it is like being a consumer advocate. The more the meal costs, the higher will be the expectations. Eating out is so much more than what is served on your plate –it is the experience as a whole.

I consider myself extremely demanding when it comes to food, and we were indeed spoilt out here.
