Next we drove to Bad Ischl which looked like a pretty town. It was quite nice and the river ran through the middle of it which was pretty. There were horse and carts everywhere and we walked down the town street following them. We managed to find a café that was open and it looked like a cute little tea room. We stopped there for hot chocolate and to warm up a bit. There was a parliament house/ castle type thing in the town too which ...

I'm planning my travels and going to ensure I get the best prices

I've volunteered to help at the London Comedy Film Festival in January. I am very excited about this opportunity, more excited then I've been in a while. And I'm going to keep my eyes open for a few more of these opportunities! Who knows what I might get to be a part of in 2015. One can only jump forward and take a leap of faith :)

There was also a little swimming pool which was part of the lake but with steps down to it - I cant believe people actually swim in there!! It was iced over at the sides which shows how cold it is. Its very refreshing walking in the ...

... amp; I made a 'clear out the fridge' dinner which surprisingly turned out quite well given the few ingredients we had to work with.
      We settled in.
Clint was at the sink and looked out the window - it was snowing! The kids came running to see. It soon stopped.
The weather forecast predicts more overnight & tomorrow.
Early to bed to see what Christmas magic Salzburg delivers tomorrow.

... over a day. To do so we purchased Salzburg Cards, a personalized card that gives you free access to many of the sites as well as all public transportation for 24 hours. This investment would prove to pay for itself in both savings and convenience. Upon waking up and enjoying a breakfast buffet that our hotel provided we were on the move, taking a tram into the castle side of town where the older sites are. We started with the castle fortress, otherwise known ...
