... and drowned in piña colada one of the yummiest desserts ever! Had a lovely sleep in till nearly 9 a rarity on this holiday thus far, a leisurely brekkie and then a nice amble down the canal, kept going along the canal bank a bit further than we needed to and got blocked off by a bridge don't know whether it was a spot used by the homeless for a loo or what but the smell was horrific, dry retched our way back to the steps and up the bank to the road - puke city! ...

... in the right direction. The weather was a bit iffy but improved as the day went on. We passed through some lovely unspoilt villages which have just stopped in time. ... a detour in the Pyrenees to go over one of the most famous mountain passes that is used by the Tour de France- the Col de Tourmalet.
