... stories and it reminded me that there is always hope in every situation. Friday night was one of my other favorite events. The talk wasn't the best, but it turned out to be okay because of the people I was with. Kirstie, Alexa, Ben, Naomi, Heather, Lewis and I all went down together and I loved being surrounded by people who rock. It opened up room for discussion as well and I always love that. ... s Day present which is celebrated here this Sunday. We had lunch at Marks and Spencer then strolled home via the city wall.

While I am writing this, it is raining, and there was some hail. Not the big wild hailstones we are used to in Brisbane, but gentle, soft and small. No need to worry about the car. Have to finish this now, as it is time to walk around to the chippy for dinner.

... night away till about 3am. Yesterday we where are very slow to start and didn't rise till 12 in the afternoon then had a very lazy Sunday doing very little but waiting for roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for dinner! We arrived early evening and the rain was tipping down but this certainly didn't dampen down Chester's wow factor.

We were staying in (another) Travelodge and after the last I wasn't expecting much but after a 10 minute walk I was pleasantly suprised. The hotel was situated opposite the Roman Amphitheatre and about 20 steps from the Newgate (a grade II listed building) section of the city wall, so plenty to explore. ...
