... century English paintings, and some amazing Wedgwood and Chinese ceramics, we had a look at the church and a walk through the gardens, the roses still blooming - and even scented! And then of course a sit down and drink at the pub. We still had time for a last walk along the cycle track, and a last delicious dinner with Omnia. And even caught a new New Tricks episode!! Now off to bed and ready for new adventure ...

Beautiful fine weather. Boarded the Johnathon Swift , a catamaran built in Fremantle, from the Dublin docks to Holyhead, Wales. ... to Bill McKenzie (an old workmate of Nick’s from the Fire Brigade), we were able to provide evidence that 30+ years experience of driving a Fire Truck under emergency conditions was worth more than 12 months of insuring and maybe driving a Motorhome. Whilst we got the necessary insurance, it cost us an arm and a leg! I had no concept of what to expect in Liverpool . Thought it would look industrial. However, I was pleasantly surprised . I found it a lovely vibrant city. Clean. Friendly. Great atmosphere.
