A few Days at Cape Verde

Vandaag hebben we een rit gemaakt door het droge gedeelte, dwars langs de canyon omhoog de bergen. Op sommige plekken sijpelt een beetje water door de stenen en bevinden zich kleine oases. Via slechte hobbelige wegen liggen ver van de buitenwereld overal dorpjes verborgen.

Departure at first light
... mean feat here due to limited availability of pretty much everything. We have cleaned, scrubbed, repaired and shopped ourselves dry and are now looking forward to getting the sails out and enjoying the sail.
