    ... notice a definite difference in the architecture of the buildings between what we have been seeing in France and what we saw in Andorra. The buildings were of a different shape and brightly coloured.

    ... nice hotel near the capital of Andorra La Vella and right in the middle of the shopping district. We then spent the afternoon exploring the sites of Andorra and of course visiting numerous shops, as well as walking through the old town of Andorra and seeing the stone buildings.     ... to the trip!  There aren't any trains or airports into the country either.  The entire country is so mountainous that straight roads aren't possible.  Extremely long tunnels have been dug in some areas, but they don't get too far through the mountain.  Before long we were again winding through the narrow mountain roads.     ... days riding had taken it out of us and we were shattered.

    During the evening we went to a pizzeria and had something to eat before having a drink at 'Mama Maria' and then returning to the hotel for a nightcap in the bar. The highlight of the night was probably me walking around the city with a large rip in my shorts!
