... and it’s stunning. Hopefully the pictures will give you a flavour. I got as high as 1940m today climbing towards a pass at 2400m.The peak above it, Pic de Peguera, is 2980m high. That’s 9,770 feet. My poor little legs have done some work over the last 2 days and the soles of my feet are rather tender. I haven’t really done much proper Alpine hiking before and I guess I was forced into it by not being able to use the bike but the terrain was too ...

We arrived this afternoon after driving via Toulouse. The drive up the mountains takes two hours and is a combination of winding roads and tunnels a few times all you could see was a mountain 100 metres ahead and no obvious road until you go around a bend. Its one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen. Snow all gone but now gearing up for summer hikers. Wine 2 euro a bottle, beer 2.50 a pint.I had a few electrical problems but after an hour with ...

We left this morning on time from The Midi Pyrènèes and now headed for 'the' Pyrènèes! About 300km but we knew the last part of the roads would be windy and slower so we gave ourselves 5hrs for the trip. The Motorway through Toulouse and down to Tarascon was fast and efficient. We stopped their for lunch as it was a beautiful town right between the cliffs at the start or the Pyrènèes. After lunch ...

    Quaint Charm in Andorra

... and Parliament buildings are located. This area had a very quaint charm, with the traditional stone brick buildings and cobbled streets. Even though this was 2015, you could see that much of this area is exactly how it would have been hundreds of years ago.

After witnessing the old part of the town, I then headed down towards the newer part of the city, which is ...
