Normally we wouldn't be so excited to see rain while on holiday however, it brought the temperature down almost 20degrees. We hooked up with our tour guide, Marielore, who it turns out is a Countesses. Will have to get nosy for details tomorrow. . .

We went with her (on the Metro- very exotic for us Floridians -) to Schoenbrunn, the Hapsburg's main (though not only) summer palace. Very Versailles-ish but NO photos allowed inside so very few ...

... After the soup the entertainment began-four local musicians who played Czech folk songs, renaissance songs, Slovak tunes, American blues and folk songs. It was a great addition to a traditional Czech dinner of roast pork and rice. We were charged to guess the ages and occupations of the musicians-our table came the closest and we won the prizr of a CD. It was a joyful evening, and we all walked home with smiles on our faces.

Not even one day trip to CZ

Again and again, every week-end opportunity I use to get off Vienna and drive to CZ. So here I am!
Yesterday at night I arrived. Today I was shopping (of course) and will going for linner (neither lunch, nor dinner) with a friend of mine in Znojmo.
Around 6 p.m. I’ll be driving home to Vienna for a shooting and meeting my best friend.

They all speak English, to some degree, but with a helluva accent which is hard to understand not like Hungary where there language makes understanding their English so much easier. Today was the first day of the Alp Trip. We left around 9 am in the morning and arrived at Gamisch-Park about 2.5-3 hours later in the very south of Germany. The scenery was like nothing I had ever seen before. I was captivated by the beautiful mountains and small German houses that sat along the highway (which by the way, often has a very high speed limit -- Canadians need to get on this)8.
