... After the soup the entertainment began-four local musicians who played Czech folk songs, renaissance songs, Slovak tunes, American blues and folk songs. It was a great addition to a traditional Czech dinner of roast pork and rice. We were charged to guess the ages and occupations of the musicians-our table came the closest and we won the prizr of a CD. It was a joyful evening, and we all walked home with smiles on our faces.

Not even one day trip to CZ

Again and again, every week-end opportunity I use to get off Vienna and drive to CZ. So here I am!
Yesterday at night I arrived. Today I was shopping (of course) and will going for linner (neither lunch, nor dinner) with a friend of mine in Znojmo.
Around 6 p.m. I’ll be driving home to Vienna for a shooting and meeting my best friend.

The Amber Trail - Apparently we are cycling along, or close to, a centuries old trade route from the Baltic States to Southern Europe. One of the main commodities carried along here was Amber from Lithuania, Latvia etc hence the name. 83 kms.... ... point I had no chance to avoid it, my inner thigh was bleeding and sending pains down my leg with every stroke. I continued to ride for about 13 more km, when finally I couldn't endure the pain anymore, luckily we were in Seefeld, which was our destination. Fabulous night so much fun!!! In morning went for a walk with Jenny across the river Saw lovely gardens along rivers edge with small sheds or shacks. Apparently those Czechs who live in apartments often have a plot of land as their garden that they visit.
