We shopped and walk through the most quaint little streets with markets, musicians sitting about, and we caught the local college pledging some of the first year students with some fun banter between the seniors and the new students. Prior to shopping and a tour of the city they took us out for lunch at a nice little bistro and we had liver pate ( they only told us after we at it) and they taught us how to eat french ...
Last day - a bit of a wreck, but I loved it
... but like most things in life, you get what you pay for. This was amazing value for money - food, accommodation, coaching, staff all rate as excellent and a group of 11 with two coaches is a good size. The accommodation is a cross between a shared student house and a hotel. We chill out together in the Lounge or in the hot tub; our rooms are made up and we are fed and watered very well. Day 5 - Just like Scotland: mountains & rain
... that offered resistance. Then, for a two hour return mini-bus journey into town, I had the company of five women who were nattering continuously. We went out to dinner tonight, to a nearby mountain refuge renowned for its passionate chef. I consumed a serious quantity of 28 day hung, Aberdeen Angus beef, cooked rare (the only option). Day 3
... do this than Pilates. 30 min's or so of deep stretching, with special attention to calves, glutes, quads and hamstring. The kneeling quadriceps stretch is really effective (worth googling and trying it out).
