      ... It was pretty good. After dinner we went on a walk down to the village. Saw the post office, rat house and knocked on some door and ran away. Saw the German memorial and the flood markers showing how high the river had flooded in the past. 2 million steps back up to the castle and time to get ready for bed.       The weather of more precisely the temperature seems to dominate how we feel about the day ahead. Usually on holiday you are happy if it is hot and disappointed if it is looking gloomy.
