... on to Dresden. We have almost decided to take at least one more night in Dresden and train out part way to the border to avoid the large conurbation. This would mean leaving for Bayreuth from Dresden rather than Konigstein as planned. We may be able to get a bus tour out to the 'Saxon Switzerland' rather than cycling there. It all depends on what we see from the train when we go to Prague on Wednesday.

... but not so good for our direction with some long stretches without clear signs (looking backwards for signs the other way often helps). Such was the case on the way to Repitz, some guesswork was required.
