The first day (sunday) we arrived about mid day- and hung out at the lodge-waiting for the rooms- it was snowing- we had left Boston around 6am and were tired , didnt ski this day.

Jake is still in school and I have probably aged 5 years in the last 8 months due to my super stressful job, but we're just plugging along until (hopefully in the not too distant future) we can get out of here and see a little more of the world!

Springdale to Salt lake City
... was one other person at the lookout. A gentleman from Canada. We shared a lengthy conservation, before it started to bucket down with snow. It was so heavy, and the wind was so chilly, but we braved it out. Then to our amazement the cloud moved out of the Canyon so we could see it for all its beauty. By this time the Canadian fellow decided to leave us to enjoy the view. The cold can be quite bearable, its the wind that cuts right through you and all you want to find refuge ...

and Dutch. Interesting to here about how they came to come and volunteer and what it was like being a Christian in the two Communist countries.
