... not that many. Dresden was almost completely obliterated by the allied forces in World War Two, the destruction still so evident. We remembered reading quite a bit about it when we were in Berlin. The city has a great feel though and they have done a good job of mixing the old with the new. Although it seems a little odd in a way. Just a few very old majestic buildings mixed in with the new.

... how it feels to learn how to walk again for a horse, or a deer or anything with long dangly legs. Anyway I am rambling.. But I want to accentuate that this was a hard morning!

Being a Sunday, most things are closed in Germany, and probably most of rural Europe for that matter. So we rode in only to find an ice cream cafe open. That will do. So we went in and ordered 2 giant iced coffees with ice cream and whipped cream and baileys for me. It was well deserved.

Next Tyler asked if a little girl was staying with us, so I said no and he said good, cause she had dropped a needle on the floor and I bent to pick it up and she was going to stab me with another one, but he shouted out and warned me, so I didn't get stabbed, but he didn't know what had happened to the girl, so he was making sure she wasn't staying with us.
