After the hustle and bustle of a series of cities, plus the confrontational nature of Nazi/ Hitler/Holocaust etc, it was so nice to escape to a small town on the Elbe River. ... slowly climbing for the last few days and are now at 700m. Yesterday's high temperature was 22c. Today it only reached 13c. It was however a relaxed day of cycling the 40km to Schongau. ... of cobblestones on the path yesterday which slowed us down. All that vibrating is tiring and I worry about the bikes but so far so good. Just 26km to Dresden today and then we catch the train for Wurzburg and the romantic road tomorrow. The forecast is for sunny weather as of Tuesday.

Day 14

Actually the weather was not that bad. We only had 26km to ride and the showers started about half way along. We got ...

Dancing in the rain, not my last day alone

I woke up and had been considering going to town, but it looked like it was going to rain, and I didn't feel like walking back up this hill in the rain. Plus it was Sunday, so I didn't know how many peole would be out or if the shops I wanted to go to would be open. I also considered running, but... I don't remember why I didn't do that right away, hahaha. So I "watched Rugrats", which meant I was asleep for most of it.
I started my day with cleaning a little, ...
