    ... beeps and we were informed that they had to restart the locomotive. It didn't end up working so we switched to another ICE train to Mannheim along with everyone else after a 25 minute delay.

    Thankfully we didn't have to stand too long and managed to get a seat. I just don't know why the Deutsche Bahn is so bad at running ICE trains. Faced with a 40 minute wait to make a complaint, we decided to head home instead, which thankfully was without delay!

    Howdy folks,

    Rainer was keen to get down to the waterfront for breakfast and it was pretty easy to reach the Landungsbrücken. So we jumped on the U-Bahn at the Sternschanze Station and got off three stops later at the waterfront.
