... has now been rebuilt, but St Nikolai has been left as it was after the fire. It is quite a creepy place. Just a few walls remain that are covered in scorch marks and holes. Pretty incredible. I m getting excited. While most people will be celebrating
New Year’s Eve with their feet on the ground, I will be in the sky, flying
towards my first stop on my 4 months travel in Asia: Bangkok.

Up this morning to head to hamburg on the bus at 2pm. We had a lot of time so we left our bags at the hostel and went out for an English brekky. It was 5euro each for 2 toast 2 eggs some bacon and baked beans so that was good. The bus from amsterdam to hamburg took 7 hours and was 22 euro each with the student card.
