... us yet. It was after 3:00. So we headed for the Gelato, then they called. After the football games they had taken a nap. They wanted to meet us to play another round of golf. We stopped at the gelato place and got small cups: Oro d'Oro which was buttery pound cake flavor and Derek got Blackberry.

We almost had the whole course to ourselves as there was no one close in front of us or close behind us. After the first 7 or 8 holes, ...

... shop and I bought one of Heather's journals.

When we got back to the hotel Erin was in bed resting as she was really tired but she was ready to head to town for lunch. Hard to believe that one week from now will find us boarding a plane in Vancouver, B.C, where we'll fly overnight to Heathrow, arriving Monday afternoon. We're hoping to knock ourselves out on the flight with ZzzQuil, so we can wake feeling refreshed enough to enjoy our first stop - Avebury - on the way to our lodging for the first night.

Hopefully we won't suffer from jet lag too badly!

So smoky due to the fires! We just wanted to get some air, finding the fresh stuff just south of the US/Canadian border.

We stopped at a fruit stand in Summerland to get gifts. Stopped at the border to give them all of our tomatoes and green onions. Stopped to convert the car's electronics back to miles from kilometers. Finally stopping at Leavenworth for the ...
