    Great little Inn and Suite

This was a refreshing place to check into and stay at for three nights after a bad experience at a local Days Inn in the area. Would suggest the inn for any time spent in the Bay area, would stay here again on next visit or any future travels. Could only hope that all small inns and hotels were this nice! The rooms are very comfy and clean, the owner/staff are very polite and friendly and helpful! Quiet area and cute buildings.

    Night 22: Golden Gate

Night 22: Golden Gate From Ft. Bragg to Daly City, CA I did not keep track of today's mileage. Today's weather varied wildly. It was in the 100's and sunny along US-101 and in the low 60's and overcast in the city. There were scattered monsoon showers in the area but we only got a couple drops for a couple minutes. I'll keep it brief today if I can. We woke up at the Pomo Campground and broke camp later than we wanted to, but still earlier than the past few days. ...

Save Money Using These Decor Tips

... for kitchen areas and restrooms. For places such as the den or living room area, the smoother, far more simple light of your incandescent light might be the better option. Every time you're overhauling the decor in the room, spend some time to swap common on-off of gentle switches with dimmer changes. These give you very much greater control of a room's lights. Dimmer switches will allow you to offer a room many different different appearance without ...

They are indicative of many of the homes around the area we are in. People have taken great pride in their homes and spruced them up to be show pieces. The downside was that the special ones had scaffolding and netting around them.

We then took a trip back to the 60's with a walk along the length of Haight Street to Ashbury Street, the enclave of the hippy area. It still remains so and in fact there are people ...

Big Sur (prise) and San Francisco

... reeking and looking dead. Like seriously stinking. (In all honesty I think there was some hygiene issues - we think they may have been pooing where they lay).

As we hit the beginning of the Big Sur, we saw a wave of fog rolling in to greet us. And then as the drive became ever more dramatic, so too did the weather. The rain lashed down, making an already hairy drive just sheer bloody scary. It meant none of the planned beauty spots enroute to our next campground ...

... I'm expecting another cruise as a prize (I may be disappointed). We have received a luncheon invitation, this is for passengers going all round the world, (did you know that Circumnavigators do it all round) so this us a special lunch and as so many passengers are doing the whole trip there will be 3 separate lunches. I'm expecting something special with lots of wine, will let you know if I'm disappointed, the lunch isn't yet the invitation is just so that we are ...
