This was a refreshing place to check into and stay at for three nights after a bad experience at a local Days Inn in the area. Would suggest the inn for any time spent in the Bay area, would stay here again on next visit or any future travels. Could only hope that all small inns and hotels were this nice! The rooms are very comfy and clean, the owner/staff are very polite and friendly and helpful! Quiet area and cute buildings.

Woke late and left to take a trolly bus downtown at 11.00. A lovely morning again. Changing onto a tram to get to Pier 33 and at the Alcatraz ferry quay we picked up our afternoon's ticket at midday. They are sold out until the twelfth of April so it was lucky that we booked in advance. To kill time we walked down to Pier 39 had a bowl of fish chowder for A and a hotdog for me, at a stand on the promenade. Amanda wanted to watch the sea lions again, so we bought a ...

After lunch we decided to be lazy and catch a movie at the Aspen movie Theatre. After that we ...

After lunch we carried on our meanderings down the wharf towards the cable car station, stopping on the way for Annick to buy some shoes. Being the height of the tourist season there was a looooong queue for the cable car, one of the 'must do' things to do whilst in Frisco. It was worth the hour wait through as ...

Night 22: Golden Gate From Ft. Bragg to Daly City, CA I did not keep track of today's mileage. Today's weather varied wildly. It was in the 100's and sunny along US-101 and in the low 60's and overcast in the city. There were scattered monsoon showers in the area but we only got a couple drops for a couple minutes. I'll keep it brief today if I can. We woke up at the Pomo Campground and broke camp later than we wanted to, but still earlier than the past few days. ...
