    Great little Inn and Suite

This was a refreshing place to check into and stay at for three nights after a bad experience at a local Days Inn in the area. Would suggest the inn for any time spent in the Bay area, would stay here again on next visit or any future travels. Could only hope that all small inns and hotels were this nice! The rooms are very comfy and clean, the owner/staff are very polite and friendly and helpful! Quiet area and cute buildings.

Night 22: Golden Gate From Ft. Bragg to Daly City, CA I did not keep track of today's mileage. Today's weather varied wildly. It was in the 100's and sunny along US-101 and in the low 60's and overcast in the city. There were scattered monsoon showers in the area but we only got a couple drops for a couple minutes. I'll keep it brief today if I can. We woke up at the Pomo Campground and broke camp later than we wanted to, but still earlier than the past few days. ...

After our feast Myra dropped us back to the hotel and a later pickup in the morning.

... an Arctic Bay Steampot that consisted of two lobsters, half a dozen shrimp (prawns to us), a pound of little clams, spicy sausage, corn on the cob and boiled potatoes, all steamed in garlic and stuff. It was certainly a messy meal to eat, having to break open the claws with special crackers, as well as split the legs with a special thingumybob; but let me tell you, it was well worth the effort. Having had our fill we paid up, had a quick peruse around the nearby wharf, and ...

... of information on sea lions from a friendly guy at the Sea Lion Center. We went in there to report an SL that we found that was injured from what looked like a propeller strike. He said it was petty common and they'll be sending over someone to take a look (see the photo ). Most of the cuts go into the blubber and it heals up over time. He said there are 273 SLs out there (he counted them this morning) and they are all males. The females are at the breeding grounds on an ...
