... tomorrow. Picking up some bread and cookies we dropped them off back at our room and headed for the big bus tour bus stop to continue the tour we didn't do yesterday. We drove around on the bus for a while getting off at the pier to have some lunch. We found a Fish and Chip place sitting in a shelter area next to a fire and ordering some hot chocolate. We also got some fish and chips and shrimp and chips. Once we were warm we walked up the road to catch a ...
... for two people and the lady serving me also gave me chips to take away for my boat cruise. It was nice restaurant, the food was reasonable and tasty, the staff were eager to please. I explored around the pier and got on the boat cruise. It was nice way of seeing San Francisco, the bridges and Angel island which was home to Alcatraz prison but in the end it got bit boring so I took time to sort out my pictures.
... time, we crashed the Deli at the corner for some famous subs. They had already eaten, but I grabbed one for a late lunch (a 49ers, which was mainly Beef and BBQ sauce), and we all got one to save for later tonight. Julie and I plumped for a 'Giants', which was pastrami based, and Sandy got a ‘Regal’, which was a ‘choose your own two meats’. We are off to Alison Moyet’s gig at The Fillmore, so we won’t have a lot of time for dinner ...

So we walked down the street near there city hall. Charlie played at a playground so he was happy, but was upset when we had to leave and get dinner. Dinner was at a little cafe, good food and very cheap which was great. Tomorrow I plan to buy a ticket for the on and off bus and explore San ...

This was a refreshing place to check into and stay at for three nights after a bad experience at a local Days Inn in the area. Would suggest the inn for any time spent in the Bay area, would stay here again on next visit or any future travels. Could only hope that all small inns and hotels were this nice! The rooms are very comfy and clean, the owner/staff are very polite and friendly and helpful! Quiet area and cute buildings.
