This was a refreshing place to check into and stay at for three nights after a bad experience at a local Days Inn in the area. Would suggest the inn for any time spent in the Bay area, would stay here again on next visit or any future travels. Could only hope that all small inns and hotels were this nice! The rooms are very comfy and clean, the owner/staff are very polite and friendly and helpful! Quiet area and cute buildings.

... down to the bottom of the hill, to the wharf area, where we caught an electric tram to Matilda's pick. Matilda- The Aquarium. The kids enjoyed this and it filled in about an hour and a half. I liked seeing the dirty looking American Opossum, Evan and Matilda liked the otters and Darcy liked the tunnels you walked through to see the tanks above you. After this we went back to our hotel for about half an hour to recharge our batteries. Then it was onto Little ...

... our stay in San Francisco. It was very windy from the overlook, so we enjoyed the view and walked through the old WWII military base located there before driving across the bridge and into the city.

We finished out our day in the city by wandering around Golden Gate Park, where the boys went discing and I walked around to some gardens and other view points before joining them on the course. For such a large city, I thought the park might be dirty ...

Night 22: Golden Gate From Ft. Bragg to Daly City, CA I did not keep track of today's mileage. Today's weather varied wildly. It was in the 100's and sunny along US-101 and in the low 60's and overcast in the city. There were scattered monsoon showers in the area but we only got a couple drops for a couple minutes. I'll keep it brief today if I can. We woke up at the Pomo Campground and broke camp later than we wanted to, but still earlier than the past few days. ...

... can’t believe this is happening in the U.S. …” Before we finished talking, my dad pulled up and we headed back to the consulate. In line at CKGS were mostly newbies to the agony or the weak ones from the day before who hadn’t stayed around to hear the announcement about the consulate. However, when we pulled up to the consulate for the third time that morning, I was greeted with the familiar faces of my friends from the previous days. By this time, I ...
