This was a refreshing place to check into and stay at for three nights after a bad experience at a local Days Inn in the area. Would suggest the inn for any time spent in the Bay area, would stay here again on next visit or any future travels. Could only hope that all small inns and hotels were this nice! The rooms are very comfy and clean, the owner/staff are very polite and friendly and helpful! Quiet area and cute buildings.

The cafe was half art gallery and half cafe, with a pretty view and cool ornaments for sale everywhere.
There were these really cool percussion instruments which looked like a pretty ornamental box with slits cut into the top in tongue-like shapes, which had beautiful tones when hit with a mallet.
When I came out of the bathroom Darren had found them and was playing around with them. ...

What a great place to be for Mother's Day. Every person we came across wished me a happy Mother's Day. We got the hop on/ off bus to union square to have a look around. Found we were in the posh area , Cartier, Prada etc so didn't spend any money but worked up an appetite so decided to look for Penny at the Cheesecake Factory. The food was fabulous so we decided to ...

We started the day with a slight sleep in. It didn't help that mine and Ryan's room was right on the street, so the garbage truck had been waking us up about 3:00 am every morning - we were tired. We left and went over the road so Ryan could get his daily coffee fix; he has been drinking espressos because he thinks American's coffee is pretty weak, & adding milk removes all coffee flavour. It started as a cloudy/overcast morning again, but you could see some ...

it’s even allowed to happen but apparently it does. Anyway, Dolores Park offered a great view of the city, as well as a nice, sunny space for people from all over to gather and chat, eat, drink and sunbake – several people even stripped down to their tighty whiteys to do ...
