    ... LOVE this place. I had the same suite as I did on my last visit, and they even put a pillow on the bed with my name embroidered on to it! Also a welcome basket with sweets, candy, apples and lots of NON-DECAF coffee!! There aren't many guests here, as it's off season, so I've got a whole pool to myself.     This morning we planned to golf at The Vineyards with our neighbours Rick and Darlene. Rick was driving the four of us to the golf course which was about half an hour away in Coachella. As we drove Bob started to feel a pain in his lower back. When we got to the golf course he was hurting but we decided to go ahead and start playing the course.     ... of grocery shopping as well and with the LA traffic a two hour drive took about 5 hours. We arrived at homewood suites hilton in Palm springs at about 6.30pm, this turned out to be just in time for the free ravioli, salad and drinks that the hotel put on for guests on weeknights. After our free dinner and drinks we unpacked Benjamin (the car) and settled into our comfortable suite for a pre coachella rest.
