    ... There were no street lights but everyone was taking their turns and we arrived at the harbour where there was quite a bit of chaos as the many restaurants were not able to take credit cards nor serve anything hot, only salads and drinks. We were not interested in having dinner so just walked around the harbour. There were several fishing boats that had just come in with their catch but because of no power they had to unload by hand. We watched one boat with two very well ...

    Had a plan to capture another sunrise photo or 2 and got another lesson instead.
    Problem was I slept in and according to the almanac I had 10 minutes to dart west in order to catch a sunrise. Instead I drove as close to an area that I could which allowed a reasonable view of a sunrise. I also gave myself a buffer: I used another hill to shoot behind which would in effect provide a later sunrise photo.

    First stop on the agenda is the Marilyn Monroe Statue. We were expecting it to be big, but had no idea it was this big! The sculpture is 26-foot-tall and 34,000 pounds in weight! Forever Marilyn is a giant statue of Marilyn Monroe designed by Seward Johnson. The statue is a representative of one of the most famous images of Monroe, taken from 1955 film The Seven Year Itch.
