    This was the day when the Oakhall team took the lessons to the slopes on the other side of the valley above Murren. Ruth had never skied this area so we set off on the bus for Stechelberg and then up two cable cars to Murren and a third up to Birg. The cafe at Birg was the base for JJ for the morning.     We had hoped for better weather today, but it's foggy outside in Murren. At breakfast we spoke with the hostess and several other folks staying at the inn. It looks like the best option is to hike down from Murren into the valley and into Lauterbrunnen. At least we can get below the clouds that way.
