    On our first day in Switzerland we headed up the mountain by cable car and then train to a little rustic mountain town called Murren.     ... saw sun! We were getting better and better glimpses of the three major peaks in this area, the Eiger, the Jungfrau and the Monch. Our little group walked through green meadows with cows that had cowbells and we stopped at a little chalet along the way and bought alpenkasse (cheese from the cows that they make in the mountains). We saw the farmer herding his cows to higher pastures...that was impressive but we decided he needed a dog!

    ... then we'd have to folk out for the last bit. No. As the ticket master came round I realise why she looked confused when I tried to hand her 1 frank and 20frank cents...she in fact wanted 120 franks, oppsy! Turns out its quite expensive to get to the top of Europe! And it was a rickerty old train at that, i propose they put the $ they gain into getting a new one!
