... It was incredible to just walk through the shopping centre and everywhere you look you see mountains.

Once we rushed back to the hotel we were able to catch the end of the Canada-Austria Men's Olympic hockey game and we witnessed Canada win 6-0! It was very exciting to watch my home country play against my current country.

We are back to Krems tomorrow after hopefully a stop in Hallstatt!

Today we were up before 6am to start our drive to Fulpmes, Austria to go skiing. Of course it was raining once again and really dark when we were leaving Krems so we didn't get to see much of the Danube and hills surrounding Krems. The drive was just over 4 hours and we were able to pass by Salzburg and pass into Germany – although there were never any signs when entering or leaving Germany. We caught the local bus to nearby Seefeld on a few occasions and I took a few ski lessons there which were great fun. If the snow had been better we would have skied from Leutasch to Seefeld but the trails were closed unfortunately. ... After lunch we climbed what seemed like a huge mountain in order to see the ski jump slope that has previously been used in the Winter Olympics. Sadly there were no jumpers today but there was good hot chocolate and a stunning view of the snow covered alps.
