      ... of the Alps just
keep getting bigger and bigger and are just beautiful.
Finally I arrive into the town of Tarvisio and decide if there is a hotel
available then I will stay here as its just not worth riding in the dark. Sure
enough there are a few hotels and strangely enough the one I chose had a sign
      outside saying "Bikers Welcome".
Booked in and bike parked safely in the garage it was time to relax and
think of my route through the Alps.

... the lake taking photos, but were rather disappointed that there was so little sun around and the snow on the mountains was covered by clouds until just before sunset as we rode back up to our apartment at Zasip. There we warmed ourselves with blackcurrent and dragonfruit tea –YUM!

Making my way back to the train station I met up with Ryan who was acting as a rail route planner for a Chinese tourist. We selected a baguette sandwich for lunch and then hopped into the hot train. About ten minutes in, the train stewart came to check our tickets and let ...

Today we farewell Salzburg! Our plans were clear and simple. Leave our hotel by taxi to train station. Catch train at 10.12am to Villach . Once in Villach alight and take the bus to Venice. Simple! Not so simple if you miss the name of the station you are supposed to get off and just sit there chatting! Suddenly, as the train is pulling out from the station....Sheree said..Oh, aren't we supposed to get off at Villach! Look around for Tanya and Tony....they have ...

Guess what? It's still raining! After paying for our night at the campsite, we set off for Slovenia. We took the A10 motorway, this is a marvellous piece of engineering! It winds through the mountains through tunnels and accross bridges. The longest tunnel was 6.8 kilometres, it's quite scary to think of all that mountain sat on top of you! We pulled off at lunch time into a small alpine village to get ...
