Christmas Markets!
Met a nice chap on the train to Innsbruck, who lives in Bulgaria and has told us to stop in if we are ever there. Don't know if we will ever want to visit there but its nice to have that option :)

I followed a sign saying “Hotel open” and sure enough it was open. By the time I parked up in the car park the temp gauge was reading -1 and I was frozen. As I walked into the hotel entrance hall the heat just hit me!! It was like walking into an oven but was a great feeling.

History's Presence
... we went with in Munich who based most of his presentation on philosophy so we could "feel the history" instead of just knowing it. I thought it was a practical and effective approach and felt like a local informed citizen of Munich by the time it was over.
