... that was dominated by the bat.I think this, along with our fielding, again at a level above everyone else,was the difference. Credit to Lehman's leadership and to Clarke's use of the bowlers on the field.

... we suddenly discovered that since our last trip to Germany the government has introduced a new "green tax" in the majority of German cities necessitating we display a badge in the windscreen which we did not have. ... is going to skip this tour since it has about 100 small, narrow steps involved, and also a long climb up the hill. His knee is just not up to it, so I'll go with Kath and Ric. Tomorrow afternoon should be the most scenic part of the cruise, as we're supposed to see spectacular views as we sail along the Middle Rhine. (I think this must be a part that you see on the Viking commercials!) Hope to post some good pictures tomorrow.
