All packed and ready to go by 11.00 a still left a little late. No trouble on the roads and swift service for lunch in the pub so arrived in good time at the parking. Good service as usual and through check in without issue. No question about the skis, boots or hand bags. Bumped into Jim Humphries in the check in queue, pleased they are not headed to our resort - the sauna could have been ...

    ... decent to watch!

today I'm expecting my friend Stef and her husband Angus to arrive and stay for a while. I usually stay with them so it will be good to play host to them, although it means I will have to cook!!
So, the first few days get a big tick. There is a lot to do around the area and I hope to do a few walks as well as hop on buses and go wherever!

bye for now..... Sorry about typos!

A good set, no real rarities, they clearly had forgotten about their first album and EP though as only one song from them. A shame IMO as I love the early stuff. The new album came across well though, crowd wasn't that great compared to previous shows there.

Baba O'Riley to finish put us in mind of Pearl Jam shows, ...

... Bristol Castle. There's a nice marina area.

There are some impressive buildings, like the Bristol Cathedral, St. Mary Redcliffe Church, and Bristol Castle, that are worth the visit. I also seem to recall some memorable Skins scenes on Brandon Hill, which is a park by the Cathedral, and I visited there too. On Sunday after the concert I went to church at Victoria Methodist Church ...
