... horrific ones too. There is an English theatre, it's closed at the moment but outside is a cupboard with novels in and on it a sign saying that they are free to take. They are all in English and make an effort to entice others to read and learn our language. Imagine a Polish theatre in London that did that. How would that go down. I see a bus saying Frankfurt ...

This morning was a more civilised start with wake up call at 6.15am and breakfast at 7. Coach departed the hotel at 7.45. Had a great nights sleep in the rooms that were very comfortable. It will be warm all next week and we have no air conditioning in the house so it is good we are leaving for a week vacation to Switzerland and Paris ...

... The glass design itself was pretty interesting too, with very jagged lined, sort of geometric figures and shapes filling each one of them. Along the outside too were many geometric protrusions from the walls and heavy, metal doors. People and other creatures that almost looked like cubist figures from Picasso paintings studded the sides of the church. I had walked up to this church feeling that I was already familiar with it, but I had definitely proven myself wrong. ...
