... into the city where Bern gave as a short orientation and we were free for the next 3 hours to explore. ... now with all theses tourists lol. Made it to the top omg, and then walked through the long tunnel to the polished brass elevator. Hitlers long Mercedes would drive through the tunnel and he would ride up the elevator. This place was a favorite for Eva Braun to entertain. ... It's quite an amazing place to visit. We were driven up by bus first then transferred to smaller transit coaches up the mountains where you walked through the original tunnel and then you took the original lift which is all brass up to the top where his house was. Even though they have converted the house into restaurants etc you can still visualise what it would of been like back in the 1940's. After visiting the nest we were off again ...
