... we arrive. Cesar’s phone GPS runs out of battery just as we arrive at the village of Maranza, where our lodgings are located. There is no one around. Finally an elderly lady leans out of a window. She knows Ms. Elizabeth Oberhofer, the host and directs us up to the church. Past the church, lost again, I find a night porter outside a nearby hotel. Wow - those poor Norwegians really get ripped every time they go out for dinner...
After leaving Per and Ragnhild's wonderful hospitality for most of the last month, we caught the train to Gardemoen Airport via Oslo, and stayed the night at a hotel near the airport as we had to be at the airport at 07.00, and would have had to leave Skien at 03.30 otherwise.
