We had it on throughout the afternoon, and it was a great way to while away a quiet NYD. I sought out the DVD after that, to no avail at the time. ... i.e. train and bus. I hesitated for a long time standing under the sheltered walkway of a motel oscillating between soldiering on in the rain or taking the alternative.

In the end I decided to take the alternative, as I figured it was not worth getting sick to walk a few more kilometers in the rain. The train station timetable told me I had to wait for almost an hour for the next train. I wondered if the bus would be quicker so I marched to the ...

... hearing all of my friends perform, and I didn't make a train wreck during my piece, so that's always good. (I performed Wolf's Er ist's.)

When that was over, Fanny and I had dinner together at a cafe right near the performance venues where famous people have been rumored to eat, but we didn't notice Cecilia Bartoli or Anna Netrebko. Next time. We had a fab conversation though and swapped stories ...
