      Well, it all began with an over night stay at the Holiday Inn hotel in Worth near Gatwick airport on Thursday 6th April 2015.       ... best beds. We were also able to go into town to get our lift passes sorted before the coach arrived so it was really fast. I got some lunch with some of the 2 weekers then walked back to the guest house. At 5pm the bar opened so we went for a drink and were introduced to a game where you have to bang a nail into the wooden stump but you have to use the wrong end of the hammer and the last person to bang their nail in has to buy everyone else ...

      I spent half of Thursday and half of Friday in Salzburg because there isn't a lot to do other than go on a Sound of Music tour. The entire town is built up on the Sound of Music, I wonder what they ever did before that movie!

      The castle we did visit was Neuschwanstein Castle in southwest Bavaria, Germany, after we left Salzburg. This famous castle was an intended personal refuge for the reclusive king, Ludwig II. The structure and shape of the castle was the main inspiration for Sleeping Beauty's castle, as often portrayed by Disneyland.       Today our damn roommates woke up at 7 am to get out by 8:30. I have no idea why all of these terrible roommates in hostels flock to Salzburg. Dani and I set our alarms for 8:30 but because of all of the noise, we snoozed until 9:30. We then checked out and locked up our bags for the day.
