A very wet and foggy morning! Not a good start as the photos show, still we walked the half hour along the lake from Obertraun to Hallstatt station. I had great respect and appreciation for mother nature but all the life skills I'd learnt so far in life help me to survive in the city, not in the wilderness. I felt incredibly alone and uneasy in the wilderness, and yet being on my own in towns or cities I ...

Oh my god! I just heard the news of the massive earthquake in Kathmandu. I was there exactly 1 month ago! Even though I clearly and luckily missed it, I now have a connection with that place and it upsets me greatly to hear such disasters strike that place.

I know for a fact that one of the project leads on the volunteer project i participated had been ...
