... went to a pub. I ordered a Berliner Weisser - a beer that is sweetened with fruit flavour & served with a straw. I enjoyed this much more than a regular beer, which is, of course, what Jared had. We had to save room for Salzburg's best restaurant, the 1-Michelin starred Ikarus. Located in Hangar-7 at the airport, it is a very modern & unique setting. Driving from Munich to Salzburg gave us a "taste" of the beauty that awaits us in Bavaria and Switzerland, as we passed numerous small towns nestled in the rolling hills of the lower Tyrolean Alps.
