This place has a great location and staff but that's all. The place needs a renovation badly. Food pretty good in the restaurant.

    Arrived in Teton Village

Had about a 5 hr drive from Utah to Jackson Hole. Stopped along the way to watch rafters come down the snake river. That's what we are doing tomorrow! Our room was a little disappointing. Very small compared to the accommodations in Park City. We checked out the sights here and later went into Jackson. Decided to have supper at an Italian place so …

We stopped in the large visitor center at the south of the park and they advised us to head over to the tent-only campground at Jenny Lake ASAP if we wanted a spot as it has been filling in the morning - we were glad we did as we got the last spot for 2 nights.
We set up the tent and then headed north to see the other sites. It was cloudy with no view of the mountains so ...

A lot of the movie was filmed around the areas we had just visited too which made it extra cool to watch, for instance the ‘Autobots’ (the ‘good’ alien robots - for those that have better things to do than watch Transformer movies/cartoons!) were hiding in Monument Valley in part of the film at ...

... they have built up the edge just a little bit with some rock. It’s definitely worth it because the views are beautiful. Once you made it past the steep parts, you can hike back into Cascade Canyon. It is so pretty back in there and there was still snow on the ground. It wouldn’t be uncommon to see bears back in there. A lot of people hike up to Inspiration Point, but the crowds drop off a little bit beyond ...

... As we got closer to Twin Falls, we began to see more farming and irrigation. We passed field after field of onions, then later potatoes. As we pulled into Twin Falls, we had heard about a KOA and set out to find it. As we were winding our way through the city, I spotted an Army Surplus store. The place was huge! Dolly didn't want to go in, but I had never seen so much "stuff" at one place in my life. I bought a few things and was in the store about an hour ...
