I arrived in Ortisei's main square and pulled out my short wave radio. Gretchen had the other and we agreed to turn them on around 5:30pm. I called them and got directions to our rental house. ... left Sully put to keep our spot on the campsite and got the local bus which too bout half hour.... We arrived at the Lake to see a extremely varied range of outfits ranging from a few in shorts and t shirts, like us and a few in full hiking gear with ponchos!! We were a bit confused as the weather had been good when we were at the campsite but as we got to the lake there were a few spots of rain coming down... ... people were lovely and very helpful. We got our regulator... Mission accomplished! The next job was to sort out Sully and her light. After working in Austria with Tyrolit for a little while, Si new a local town with a car parts supplier so off we went. We got the car parts place and after some good translation skills via Pictionary and Charades we found out the external gauge we needed they didn’t have! Alas- what to do???
