... electives, so we got on the 630am train and were to the mountain by 9am and caught the gondola right at the bottom of the mountain by 930am. This mountain was huge - many connected resorts that we couldn't even hit them all in one day, but it was awesome! Saturday marked the first day of the tri-annual Auer Dult market in Munich. So again we hopped on the train from Holzkirchen for a walk around the city. Matthew's Mum had never visited the city centre before, so it was nice to show here around. The Auer Dult market is situated just outside of the city centre, a couple ...

... is one of the best kept secrets in Salzburg with more than 360,000 tortes made each year. The Sacher torte is also shipped to many different countries around the world each year. Salzburg is a great city that definitely cannot be fully appreciated in a day. There was so much more I wanted to see. But, I did feel like I got a good overview of the city. Guess I'll just have to come back someday! The hills are alive with the sound of ...
