... From there, which was 2500 metre high still, Papa and I walked back down to Grindewald, which was a 3 hour down-hill hike through farms and beutiful scenery. It was an amazing day!!
As we were leaving Grindewald for Venice, we bought a couple of cow bells to remember our stay in the Alps. At night from the hostel, we could hear the cows and sheep "jingling' arounf the slopes.

... shop, they just open the gates, tell you to find a spot and see them in the morning to check in. Not here - gates were shut and padlocked, as were the first set of toilets we found. Tired, frustrated, busting to go to the toilet, and well and truly in need of showers, we went in to the camp ground and used the second set of toilets we found - no toilet paper, but not even any toilet SEATS!
