Ausserbinn, Switzerland lesterenanne... the "Her Majesty's Secret Service" movie in the late 60's.
In case you weren't a fan, they had plenty of notifications of this fact to let you know.

In spite of it being from a package mix, I can tell you that it will likely go down as being the most memorable hot chocolate I ever had at Piz Gloria. Actually make that hot chocolate mixed with Grand Marnier. Hey, the Swiss felt the restaurant needed revolving and I felt the ...
Interlaken, Swiss Alps, Switzerland trockie... and it was interesting to
compare experiences.
Wednesday I took the morning off from work and went to Nyon and then met up with several friends to go on a hike and picnic in the Jura mountain range. It was a great group of kids and we had a really fun time exploring. We had a picnic at the top with beautiful views of the French Alps and Mont Blanc. I went straight from hiking to an interview in Geneva with a Human Rights professor for my ...

Grindelwald, Swiss Alps, Switzerland pajas... did a small but nice hike in the mountains the next day. It’s crazy how you lose your hiking skills really quickly. I felt like i was going to fall over every step I took. All over the valley, we could see para-sailers in the sky, it would have been awesome to try except it the damage was at least $170 each... bummer.

http://picasaweb.google. com/lh/photo/_RXGGfa-cjNcaDADRk_4xA?aut hkey=Gv1sRgCMTOwqr-zZGObA&feat=dire ctlink
Interlaken, Swiss Alps, Switzerland sofenjon... to Bern presented some pretty views over Lac de Genève and the surrounding mountains. We switched trains in Bern and again in Interlaken before getting on a tiny, cute train that took us to Grindelwald. This ride wasn't covered by our Eurail passes, so we paid the 7 franc (<7USD) and enjoyed what must be one of the most incredible transportation routes in the world. Sheer cliffs and mountains literally rose up next to us. We put the windows ...
Grindelwald, Swiss Alps, Switzerland nglick... man who looks like a dishevelled old surfer gnome (no embellishment required) help us onto the pitch in precise Swiss style which means no foreign interference is preferable, so we stand back and look on as politely suggested. Its still raining!!! We start to setup the awning as its still wet from previously and the rain doesn't look like going away. Amazingly we are right, as we are ½ way there, the lightning and thunder starts in the distance, by the time we are set up ...
Interlaken, Switzerland rob.jenn... for the weekend ! We decided to stretch our legs with a cable car ride and "quick" hike up towards the Grindelwald Glacier. This being Switzerland, everything is done very efficiently. There are hundreds of hikes mapped out very clearly, with signposts as to how far each point is and plenty of cable cars, buses and trains to get you where you need to go. It certainly isn't cheap, but it makes life very easy. We only had 2 hours from when we started to hike to make the last cable ...
Grindelwald, Switzerland the_mcdonoughs... Video evidence coming. The train trip down the mountain was just as spectacular but by this time it was fairly late in the afternoon and our plans to get to Gimmelwald were becoming impractical. Unfortunately the Valley Hostel could not accommodate us but they rang around and booked us into the cabins at the campground. BIG MISTAKE. No cooking facilities, no fridge, outside toilet and showers, noisy neighbours, no view and uncomfortable beds. Not pleasant at all. Not a ...
Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland scootergal... 19 people while they were canyoning. During that previous trip, I stuck to the safer side: paragliding and ice climbing. I wanted to try something different this time around, mainly sky diving. But I found the $380 price tag for a 10-minute thrill to be somewhat steep. Liesje, Luke, Alexandra and I opted for something more affordable - white water rafting. Sporting sexy full-body wetsuits, life jackets and helmets, paddle in ...
