... gothic churches; it was so interesting and creative. There was a grotto with a window seat that overlooked the Alps (beautiful, but was likely intimidating as it was on the EDGE OF A MOUNTAIN!) He only lived in the home for about 170 days before he died. When we were done touring the castle, we were excited for the carriage ride back down but they were CLOSED for the evening! I had a fabulous 2 week holiday over the christmas/new year period staying in a little village of Leutasch, part of Seefeld in Austria. I went with an Australian friend Roslyn, who I met on my Swiss ski trip last year. She is a radiographer and has been working in UK for about 12 years now and done some amazing holidays during that time.



The snow wasn’t fantastic and apparently still isn’t - not a good season so ...

... and the Krazy Kanguruh, however the slopes were a lot busier and also icier. Don't get me wrong - the skiing/boarding is still great.
On the other hand, the Lech side (Lech, Zug and Zurs) seemed to have the better slopes - wide, open, not too crowded, and much more powder.
So you really have to decide what you prefer more...
