... shops. We agreed to meet Nicola and Gerrard at 6.30 but by 5.30 we were exhausted! We met up and decided to go to a restaurant in the square but as it was getting quite cold we went upstairs. We shared a pizza and then had Weiner schnitzel. It was delicious and feeling contented and full we walked back to the hotel. We walked beside the river and we really enjoyed the stroll. ... s inner "park compass"never ceases to amaze me. We are half way around the world and they are still the most content and happy if we find a good park. And today we did, in the Imperial Garden in Old Town. Very cool set up - an old medieval village. A walk around the old town plus a stop for strudel and cappuccino rounded out another great day.

... from). Alex ordered a beer in German. When the beers arrived the label declared them as alkoholfreies bier aka alcohol free. The group erupted into laughter when that discovery was made. Alex's was the only bier with alcohol. In a laneway close to our meeting place were many bars with accordions, music and lots of people. A day in Tirol

... their own place to that of Innsbruck as it is too much like a big city. As we left, Anne and myself were chatting and there is more to see in this area, so would like to return here and visit the little places as they all have a certain charm of their own.

The drive back was quite uneventful, apart from the fact we stopped and peed in Germany. We got to Salzburg with a heap of time to spare, found the train left in 15minutes, so will deposit us in Vienna around 6 o'clock.
