... sophistication of similar Swiss mountain villages. This is incorrect. It is equal in all respects. My initial opinion was formed based on sighting just one third of the village because that’s all I could see due to the North Face mountain races administration, tents, support vehicles, etc. blocking off the rest of the village from my view.

Then we hired a paddle boat, with a slide coming of it! We paddled out a little way and had heaps of fun trying to get away from Joe and Siena as they came off the slide.

Watching the Italian people at the beach is fascinating and often quite funny. There are all ages and sizes - it seems that the bigger you are the smaller are your togs.

... traveling an extra 28kms each way. Watched the Italian locals doing hay, most of this appears to be a very manual process, hand raking in corners and down hills, funny how labour intensive it was.
