I really loved alpa suites on how they treated guest. It seems I checked in a five star hotel. Rooms facilities is best and breakfast is tasty. Buffet breakfast food choices are not that much but, it really the best.

... really busy and always have long queues. A queue to get into the terminal building. A queue to scan your bags. A queue to drop your bags. A queue to pay a terminal fee (so annoying). A queue to be scanned again. All a bit ridiculous really. The size of these buildings weren't designed for all these people! The flight to Cebu was just one hour. Cebu Pacific surpassed themselves today - we landed 20 minutes EARLY! Wow. The only way to get from the airport to the city is ...

Its more like we've known the guy for days, not 5 minutes!! Since we met he has paid for our jeepney, missed his stop, found our bus, apologizing because our bus has no A/C , and i have his phone number for if we are back in Cebu to give him a ring to go to his for dinner!!

So Michael, if you are reading this.... you are a ...

This weekend our travels took us the beautiful islands of Cebu and Bohol, bringing along their chocolate hills, manmade forests, and many friends, both old and new. From one extreme to another, Cebu is a very large city (the second largest in the Philippines to be exact) filled with much commotion and malls that take longer to walk through than the Louvre. As our friend Eugene put it, "if window shopping was a sport, Filipino's would win a gold ...

... guards are heavily armed and known to be quite trigger happy. We have not seen many tourists here compared to all the other countries we have been to and I suspect we will see even fewer tourists on the island of Palawan, called "the last frontier". The Philippines have the most amazing underwater snorkeling that I have ever seen. There was a unique underwater cliff with stunning colorful coral reef right by the resort where we stayed. I went snorkeling by the edge of ...

... Tops. The temple was interesting and very striking, though not quite as I had expected, and then Tops – quite literally the mountain…tops. Spectacular. The views stretched as far as Mactan Island and Olango Island; you could even see Bohol, it was so beautiful, until the rain started! We headed back to the city for a delicious thai meal, a beer and then bed.

Monday 30th was National Heroes Day, so no work. Headed to Carbon Market, which was brilliant: made an ...
