    Before arriving in Slovenia, the only place we knew we wanted to visit for sure was Lake Bled. Seeing pictures and reading about other travellers' experiences led us to this decision.     ... We waited for the hour and caught that bus. The bus crossed running rivers and passed cute villages with their A-Frame houses all in brown and cream colour scheme. We reached Bohinj and after a quick trip to the supermarket for sugar supplies we commenced our walk around the lake. The lake was jade green in colour and like Bled was clear and flat, with no wind. The lake was surrounded by towering mountains and amazing trees and forest like Bled but appeared less visited.
