What a day, a day I won't forget any time soon!

The day itself was amazing even prior to the engagement.
We were up and ready to go by 8.00 to catch the 8.30 train from Bled Jezero to Bohinj bistrica. We rode to the station got our tickets and helped load all the other bikes onto the train. What we didn't realise was they were getting off after us...after a quick reshuffle of all the bikes we had ours and we got off at our stop.

... Finally about 200m later we entered a large cavern called Globočak Collapse Doline that was surrounded by stalactites and stalagmites sticking down the from the roof and up from the ground. It was an amazing sight. Everything was damp, dripping with water and the temperature was a comfortable 20 degrees. ... but there is a long-ish line at the check-in desk. The airline doesn't even have kiosks for check-in or online check-in options - it's that tiny. Since I have hours before my departure, I stand in line and people watch. I also am hoping my bag isn't overweight ! When it's my turn, I put my bag on the belt and watch the scale go up to 21kg. I thought the weight limit was 20kg but maybe it is really 22kg because the lady didn't say anything about it or tell me I needed to ...

... we slept overnight in. The second morning a helicopter brought provisions to the hut and we helped unload. (I was very excited). Up at higher altitudes there was quite a bit of snow, although the temperatures were still fairly warm. We hung out with some Alpine Ibex mountain goats on the way up to the summit of Kanjavec (the second highest peak at 2568m).
