Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico pamericasOk I know there is going to miscommunications between people but this one was big. I'm not going to go into detail but a 3 hour bus rid to hang out with some friends for the night turned into a 10 hour ride jammed in a suv with 7 others to go to a WEDDING! Ok, I don't have any nice cloths with me and I wasn't planning on 10 hours in a car. At least I got some free food.
Culiacan, Mexico macrosse1Accommodation

Cosala has five hotels with at least one to suit every budget. The nicest hotel in town and the place where I stayed is Hotel Quinta Minera, Miguel Hidalgo No. 92, Tel: 01 (696) 9650222, Web: www.haciendaquintaminera.com . The hotel is housed in a fine period building with many original features and is set around beautiful gardens with two swimming pools. The ...
Cosalá, Sinaloa, Mexico amazingjourneysAfter exiting the ferry we did not know exactly how far we would be able to go before nightfall. The ferry was about an hour and a half delayed so we pulled out at about 3:30pm and were aiming for Mazatlan over 300 miles away. It soon became clear that we won't make it to Mazatlan before nightfall, even with Jess driving too fast (in my opinion)... we had to find a hotel in a town called Culiacan, which is the state capital of Sinaloa. Again we were hot, hungry ...
Culiacan, Mexico jessandmalinWe got our muffler replaced in los mochis for $35 and headed down the coast to el dorado. lindsey got a speeding ticket for doing 80km in a 60km zone (Sometimes the speed limit posts are hard to see and change suddenly here) it was a bit frantic to sort out what was going on as the police officer spoke very quickly and with a thick accent making him hard to understand. we thought he was going to take lindsey's drivers licence and registration at first but she said she would ...
El dorado, Mexico 2monkeys... the door step (that looked lilke an accordion) but we... Ian... managed to repair everything with a good old hammer. The park was built around a lagoon and was a fairly extensive water park and villas complex. We noticed many beautiful birds and the funniest thing. We were there in a huge fenced park all alone with the overnight security guard. Bon, enough for this one! Bye people, Eugie

Culiacan, Mexico clintonb... s BIG and HEAVY and boards get snapped, and you need to be really experienced to ride it. So if you dont hear from me you´ll know why ;) I just got back from a little boat ride around the bay here. I originally went for it because it had a picture of someone diving off a big rock and thats what i wanted to go and do. It turns out that we didnt go anywhere of the sort, or if we did they didnt inform me about it, although we did go near ...
Acapulco, Mexico chalkA whole new world greets us this morning. The trip to Los Mochis after the ferry docked (9:30pm) was completely uneventful. We were reluctant to drive at night, but the highway was very well used, a divided 4 laner, and good speed was maintained by all vehicles for the 20 km to ...
Los Mochis, Mexico ddgfraser... hello bus. I arrived in Los Mochis in time for a meal and opportunity to try a new beer (Texacate), buy my train ticket, find a hotel room (following my loney planet guide and opting for a more basic place than previously as this is just a stop over. Place was basic indeed, but good enough and still in hotel class - not yet made it to dormitories in hostels. Managed to book a taxi for 5 in the morning in broken spanish and got a short ...
