... Sampere. Throughout this life-changing experience, I have learned so much about myself, the world and the Spanish language and culture. In these six weeks I have learned to travel abroad, navigate foreign cities and be independent at only twenty years old all while using a foreign language. manera perfecta para terminar nuestro viaje en Alicante. ¡Un día más!

... before it got too hot.

The campsite we stayed in in Rugat was interesting for a number of different reasons. Firstly it had its own lake with a good selection of water fowl, a heathly population of red squirrels, and a workforce almost entirely British. Not sure how they all ended up in Rugat but it was a bit bizarre. ...

Muslims constructed it during the 9th century and called it Banu-lQatil. Castillan forces captured it in 1248, and
they changed its name to its present title. Several different periods of
history are represented here. The site´s slopes are studded with archeological
remains from the Bronze Age, Iberian Age, and Roman times. We also saw one
