... that we just saw an alligator and he responded with, “Yep, you’ll see a bunch of gators 'round here”. We didn’t see a moose or a bear yet so I am happy with an alligator sighting!

The campground is primarily RV with only 6 walk-in tent sites, but they are in the woods and surrounded by huge trees which give the area plenty of shade. The rest of the sites were basically baking in the sun! We rushed to set up camp ...

Gorgeous morning, storm what storm :-). Happy Independence Day USA, I'm off to the gym the skipper still has a cold. We have to return the car this morning, then the plan is to watch the tennis on the pool bar tv hoping they are showing it.

Good morning

The rain woke me up at 5:30 but it settled down, now 7:55 it has settled down. It's not cold, lightly raining light wind. I've attached a radar photo for you so you can see the storm activity....you can see the bad wind should hit us if at all in a couple of hours. All the locals here say it's a really protected area. By the time we leave on Saturday morning it will be past where we are and were we are going :-)

Our incredibly long day yesterday didn't end until 1 am when we found a SAMs to park overnight. Tommy slept in a little later, we grabbed breakfast at McDonald's, and southward we drove.
