      ... wines and then ordered a Limoncello. Well the crowd involved us and one male started singing Quando, Quando, Quando and we smiled, when we finished our Limoncello, he ordered us another two and we laughed and joked together.       ... It then took me an hour walking around the town asking different people and having to go back to the vets to find the pharmacy to get the prescription - yes the pharmacy where we would get medicine for ourselves also sell the dog medicine - after 3 pharmacies I got it !!! Tia's eye looks better after one dose so sure will be better ...

      ... or bring headlights like Lois and Larry or a flashlight like we did. Our hotel does not have a restaurant, does have a restaurant recommendation but it is half way back up the mountain. I think the closer you are to the top the more expensive the hotel. We are paying €120 a night a good bit down the hill and you can see by my photos that it is a fairly steep hill with many steps. I do not think we will have lost too much ...

      Buon giromo

      The rooster might have crowed this morning and the train might have delivered 14 commuters somewhere but not for ears in our room at Borgo di Santa Barbara. So if you like off the map somewhat and entertaining pizza chefs this is the place for you...and a mere €80. Mind you must admit Lois heard the kids playing until midnight (local party at the restaurant), the rooster and the train...so maybe you ...

      ... meals here, and watched the passing parade (usually great entertainment!) from numerous cafés and bars. We have marvelled at the stunningly positioned Greek Theatre (a bit smaller than Siracusa's, but with a fabulous view!), found peace, quiet and shade in Villa Communale, the lush public gardens created by Florence Trevelyan. These gardens also provided an abundance of stimulation for the senses - the cypress and pines, jasmine, angels' trumpets, hibiscus ...
