Finally a guard told us how to find the stadium and even though it too was under construction the rain had let up and we were able to get a shot ...

... both made it through their meals but Jo, Matt and I asked for a doggy bag to take home the leftovers - in true Texan fashion!
In the afternoon we went for a walk through Bear Creek (suburb) bush trail for about 3-4 miles. We had a couple of 'whinging wilderness wanderers' in the group but we survived and most of us had a nice walk! There was an airport (Jandakot size) on the other side of the trail and we got a great view of some small planes coming in to land.
