Well. It's official. I'm am FINALLY going to Sicily! Being able to spend 11 weeks in Sicily is a dream come true and I could not be more excited for it. The reason I will be in Sicily all summer is Camp Adventure, the program I went to Hawaii with last summer. I will be a day camp counselor on an US Navy base there. The last day in Brazil went very smooth. We had our first appointment with the Brazilian low-cost airline GOL who were extremely charming. They first took us into what they call a "Memory Room" which had seats like in the plane, and they walked us through the history of GOL.

There are many reasons that explain why GOL has a big share in the market:

  • They were the first ones to introduce e-ticket in Brazil.

... the hotel had a refrigerator we would buy some yogurt and fruit for breakfast. We usually had an inexpensive breakfast, light lunch (if any) and a decent dinner. We splurged on our last night for dinner. Then of course there is ice cream, coffees and other treats throughout the day. (All of this is included in the budget.)
