As we were put into a holding pattern above Istanbul, temperatures started to rise in the craft. Voices were raised and tension grew as it became apparent that firstly, we (and clearly some others) were going to land 30 minutes late and miss our connection to Bodrum. The prpspect of another night somewhere in Istanbul wasn't really what we had anticipated but, whatever...... Imagine ...
