Despite almost continuous rain all day I have had a ball. First we rode some narrow lanes to a hilltop from which we would have had good views of Jeruzalem if it hadn't been raining and then on to the picturesque town of Ptuj for coffee. ... br> It was a day that will not be forgotten...and amazingly enough, the next day was wonderful as well. Little Maria had asked if I wanted to join her in canyoning the following day...and boy am I glad I did. It was a blast. There were only four of us and the guide that went which was perfect. We took a drive to the mountainside where we got in our wetsuits, picked up our gear and hiked to the top of a canyon where I would learn ...
