We were at the Skocjan Caves in time for the 10.00 am tour. It's a huge cave system. The first part of the walk was through a dry cavern - massive with impressively large stalactites and stalacmites. In parts it 100 metres high. The second part of the cave has water rushing through it although the water level is quite low at the moment. It was the first basketball game on any Championship on which I was ever.

The great thing about this trip is we are seeing places that we wouldn’t have ever dreamt about going on holiday too and although we are only seeing snippets of some of these places it gives us a great idea of where we want to visit in the future. Slovenia will certainly be one of those ...

... you will have a lifetime of happiness. There are many Love Lock bridges around the world, including the wonderful one in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

It is not the number one destination for people, but I would suggest everyone to go. It really is such a special experience you wont get if you just visit a really well known city/country. Getting out of the major tourist places, and escaping to a place with such a rich history is something I HIGHLY recommend. ...
