... As we returned to the campground, we passed a strange set of what could only be described a "spectator stands" on the side of the lake. After hanging out for a few minutes, we realized that these were, in fact, "stands" for rowing races. ... to purchase tickets to get into the Gorge, but it was well worth it! The entire trail is either very well-maintained boardwalks or maintained trails, taking you deep into the gorge for picturesque, clear, pristine river/stream and its equally as stunning sheer walls and cliffs!

The hike takes about 1.5 hours round trip and the pictures speak for themselves! It was a fantastic side trip as we made our way to Lake Bled!

Croatian Basketball back on track

We won after 18 years!
It was the first basketball game on any Championship on which I was ever.


Interesting that we have not hoped for victory, so this is the first time that we gave no thrills for every lost ball, or missed score of our players. One reason may be the 6000 green, the home crowd on their terrain against our maybe 150 funs, but the victory was sweet.
