1 Woche Almhof Lackner. Alles ein bisschen alt, aber sehr sauber, schönes Zimmer und gutes Essen. Speisesaal im 70er Stil etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

... the people close me were dark shadows so I gave my skis back and sat in the cafe for the day which I have to say was a wise choice!! A few people were injured nothing serious though! Met some cool guys from Brighton, London and one of them injured his arm so I think I made the right choice! Today I am going to look around the city of Innsbruck...its a small city with lots of shops so I don't know if there is much for tourists to do besides ski and snowboard but I'm going to find out for ...

      A day out in Innsbruck!

A travel blog entry by nicolapollard on Mar 01, 2015

... t booked my travel to Zurich and I didn't know the best way to get there. After speaking with the receptionist I found I could either bus or train, bus was cheaper but longer. I had heard the trip from Innsbruck to Zurich was really pretty so I didn't want to travel through the night so I decided to suck it up and pay a bit extra for the train so I could get there faster and still see the scenery. We walked to the train station to buy ...

      Three countries in one day!

... Austria. Innsbruck is like a medieval town just plonked in the middle of Europe! We had three hours to explore the town and it was quite interesting. We went to the golden roof which was a building built by emperor Maximilian in the 1500's for him and his two wives after their wedding. The balcony was where they watched festivals, fights and the everyday life of the towns people. It was quite an amazing and obscure building. We then made our way ...

... and as you may know BMW bought both the Mini and Roll-Royce outfits back in the GFC. I had a very old mini back in the sixties, wow how thing change, the new stuff is amazing. Most interesting is the advancements in full electric from BMW, nothing will stop this move and as is the case slow start up and fast pick up later. I did take a full pics so will put those up for a look. The sports electric is available here in Germany and I have seen a few, I ...

... pros and were not used at all in our lesson - don't bother hiring them on day one.

From here our ski school are took us and the rest of the people in our group up to the gondola, which took us up to the school's base and beginner slope on nordkette mountain.

We had an hour to kill, so Dan taught himself to ski while I made a dick of myself and decide to sit on the sideline and wait for the instructor.

The views from here over the ...
