1 Woche Almhof Lackner. Alles ein bisschen alt, aber sehr sauber, schönes Zimmer und gutes Essen. Speisesaal im 70er Stil etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

... today had its hottest July day ever and Venice was stifling by the time I arrived mid-morning. So today’s travel dragging suitcases around with a train change in Verona was very uncomfortable. Even Innsbruck which is surrounded by mountains was over 30c when I arrived this afternoon.

In the taxi from Innsbruck station to my hotel I was very interested at the driver’s comments when I told him ...

... and also a lot more saltier.

Then we hired a paddle boat, with a slide coming of it! We paddled out a little way and had heaps of fun trying to get away from Joe and Siena as they came off the slide.

Watching the Italian people at the beach is fascinating and often quite funny. There are all ages and sizes - it seems that the bigger you are the smaller are your togs.

Went to t trout farm and had a look around but didn't want to to catch them because they were well under legal for NZ. After this the plan was to go paragliding but the weather turned to **** and it got ...

... Had dinner in a quaint bar called Simi, Tim had Zwieblrostbraten & I had wiener snitzel. Back to the hotel and out for this evenings optional extra a Typical Tyrolean evening. The family dresses in national costume and sings, dances and played these amazing instruments, Tim got a couple of beers even if they were steins, back to the hotel, straight to bed got an early start ...
