Late start again and that was probably good for 'the young ones' who had a disco and karaoke going. Local high flying officials arrived latish and kept us awake with drunken noises. ... was camel, hump and all. He sales lady drew a picture of a camel to show us what we were buying. kilos with a slice of the hump thrown in for less than $4. Veggies much more expensive but we bought a lot of potatoes, tomatoes and capsicums. Very fresh of course but nit a great variety. All we need though. ... stop found ourselves with nowhere to go. Nothing there but a few houses, no taxi, no mountain nearby, no hiking tracks. Only one thing to do: get back to Bishkek. The worst part of this trip was the heat of the train again, it must have been 30 degrees in the train from 4pm till midnight.
